Invites Applications For The Position Of Employee Services Assistant - Human Resources (1.0 FTE Temporary 8 Month Contract- August 2026)

Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Employee Services, the Employee Services Assistant will support the Employee Services Department in the areas of Office Administration, Automated Callout System, Occupational Health and Safety, Internal and External Recruitment, Staff Orientation, Attendance Support, Employee Wellness, Return to Work, WSIB, HRIS, and will assist with Labour Relations.

Responsibilities
  • Support Office Administration.
  • Maintain the Automated Callout System.
  • Assist with Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Participate in Internal and External Recruitment.
  • Organize Staff Orientation.
  • Provide Attendance Support.
  • Promote Employee Wellness.
  • Assist Return to Work processes.
  • Handle WSIB related tasks.
  • Maintain HRIS data.
  • Assist with Labour Relations.
Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary education in Business Administration – Human Resources or Office Administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Superior analytical, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Problem‑solving ability.
