Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) invites recent graduates to join the Emerging Leader program. You will rotate through Operations, Logistics, Finance, Procurement and Human Resources, learning core processes and leadership skills across a growing global metal recycling business.

Participants gain hands-on exposure to price strategies, margins and customer relationships while developing cross-functional competencies for future leadership roles within AIM.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate from a relevant University or College program.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Emerging Leader program across Operations, Logistics, Finance, Procurement, and HR.
• Learn product materials, yard operations, and safety culture.
• Support transportation, dispatch, and vendor management activities.
• Assist with contracts, inventory processes, and month-end closings.
• Build customer relationships and contribute to pricing strategy discussions.
