Job summary

SLR Consulting Americas is seeking an Early Career Environmental Scientist/Engineer to join the Land Quality and Remediation team. You will lead fieldwork, support remediation programs, and assist with budgeting, planning, and reporting across varied sites in BC and beyond.

You will contribute to technical reports, coordinate with project managers, and work both independently and in small teams on field assignments that may require extended periods away from home.

Qualifications

• A diploma or degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology or Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant BC experience, with contaminated sites a strong asset.
• Eligibility for professional status with a recognized organization is an asset.
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset; ability to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Participate in fieldwork and remediation programs at varied sites, including monitoring.
• Assist with preparation of technical reports and project planning.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, and execution of projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and other disciplines; work in remote locations as needed.
• Assist with proposals and manage data and reviews for clients.
