Job summary

Nanaimo Urgent Pet Care Centre, part of VetStrategy, is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to support our growing hospital on Vancouver Island. You will manage emergency and urgent care cases, perform surgical procedures as needed, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on high-quality care for pets and their families.

Emergency Veterinarian – Nanaimo Urgent Pet Care Centre

$160,000-$200,000 annually | Up to $50,000 Bonus Package | Unlimited CE

Nanaimo Urgent Pet Care Centre is looking for an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our dedicated team as we continue to rebuild and grow our hospital in Nanaimo, BC.

The hospital is committed to providing accessible urgent care to pets across the region, with current operating hours of 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week.

We are looking for a veterinarian who is confident managing emergency and urgent care cases and wants to be part of building something special.

You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team while managing complex medical and surgical cases and continuing to develop your skills in a supportive environment.
