VCA Canada Guardian Veterinary Centre in Edmonton, AB is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian (DVM) to join a state-of-the-art 25,000-square-foot hospital. You will oversee multiple emergency and hospitalized cases per shift and provide in-house care during quieter periods, while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with specialists to ensure top-tier patient care.

Qualifications

• Internship trained preferred OR 2 years of direct working experience in an emergency or urgent care.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical and emergency care skills
• Strong organizational skills, which allow you to stay focused and work under pressure
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
• Eligible to be licensed in the province of Alberta
• Capable of multi-case management per shift
• Willing to actively manage and treat in-house patients during quieter periods between emergency cases
• Will collaborate with specialists to ensure patient care is the top priority

Our hospital offers referral-based, board-certified specialty services in Internal Medicine and Surgery, supported by cutting-edge diagnostic technology.
