Fraser Canyon Hospital in Hope, BC, is seeking a full time and/or part-time CCFP(+/- EM trained) physician to join the Fraser Canyon Department of Emergency Medicine. This rural posting offers a unique opportunity two hours east of Vancouver, in a community with stunning mountain scenery.

The role requires FRCPC (Emergency Medicine), CCFP-EM, or ABEM certification and CPSBC licensure eligibility with full or provisional status. Fee-for-service compensation is described by Fraser Health.

Qualifications

• FRCPC (Emergency Medicine) or CCFP-EM or ABEM certification required.
• Eligible for CPSBC licensure.
• CPSBC USA-certified registration acceptable.

Responsabilités

Role and Facility Information

The Fraser Canyon Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking to recruit a full time and/or part-time CCFP (+/- EM Trained) physician.

A unique rural opportunity for you just a short two-hour drive east of Vancouver’s city centre. Hope is an outdoor paradise with a variety of recreational opportunities and a vibrant culture all surrounded by majestic mountains and breathtaking views.

Fraser Canyon Hospital (FCH) is a 16-bed community hospital and provides services including 24/7 emergency care stabilization and triage and hospice beds and services. Emergency care stabilization and triage 24/7 is a critical need for Fraser Canyon Hospital due to its geographic isolation and the number of travellers using the major highways that converge in the area.

Qualifications & Experience

FRCPC (Emergency Medicine), CCFP-EM, or ABEM certification.

Eligible for Provisional Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).

CPSBC USA-certified class of registration is acceptable.
