SFT Services is seeking nurses to fill mandates in the emergencies and ICU on Îles-de-la-Madeleine. The position offers day, evening and night shifts, full-time with a start date of September 8, 2025.

The role involves providing quality nursing care in a hospital setting and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. We value autonomous professionals with strong communication, organizational skills and a solid background in emergency/critical care.

Qualifications

• College Diploma (DEC) in Nursing.
• Member in good standing of the Order of Nurses of Quebec (OIIQ).
• ACLS and CTAS are assets.
• Significant experience in emergency/critical care is required.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Organizational skills, professionalism and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in a hospital environment.
• Assess patients' medical and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure effective communication with families regarding patient health status and needs.
• Participate in case management to ensure continuity of care.
• Train and supervise auxiliary staff, as appropriate.
