Job summary

Qualifications

• Active registration with NANB.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience or equivalent acute care nursing experience in the past 5 years or completion of the Critical Care Course.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency situations and rapidly changing priorities.
• Delivers complex patient care in the ED.
• Administers IV vasopressors.
• Completes annual advanced nursing competencies related to critical care.
• Performs the duties of the position including ambulance transfers.
• Maintains strict confidentiality regarding all aspects of work.
