Job summary

CCEM Strategies in Vancouver is seeking an Emergency and Continuity Management Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of tailored emergency management and business continuity programs.

You will guide clients in the private and public sectors, conduct gap analyses, develop training, run exercises, and mentor team members while traveling up to 10% as needed; a flexible in-office schedule supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing emergency management programs.
• Ability to conduct gap analyses against standards and regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for client advisory roles.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of customized emergency management and business continuity programs.
• Provide expert guidance on regulations, standards, and best practices to clients in public and private sectors.
• Assess clients' existing programs and conduct gap analyses to identify improvements.
• Develop and conduct training, and facilitate exercises for resilience.
• Travel to client sites as needed (up to 10%).
