Qualifications

  • CFAS Certified Embryologist designation is an asset.

At Pacific Centre for Reproductive Medicine (Pacific Fertility), we’re dedicated to helping individuals and couples build families through compassionate care, innovation, and leading‑edge reproductive technologies.

We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Embryologist II (or an Embryologist I for the right candidate) to join our dynamic Burnaby team.

What You’ll Do
<>You’ll play a key role in supporting our patients’ fertility journeys through exceptional laboratory work and collaboration with our clinical team.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Perform all Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) procedures, including: Egg retrieval, embryo assessment, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), embryo transfer, and vitrification/warming.

  • Assess and grade oocytes, embryos, and blastocysts following established lab criteria.

  • Prepare and maintain culture media, consumables, and equipment according to protocols and quality standards.

  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential laboratory documentation and patient records.

  • Participate in quality control and assurance programs, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and lab colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.

  • Contribute to process improvement and research initiatives within the lab.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with embryo biopsy and oocyte vitrification/warming is an asset.
