Job summary

Coastal Culture is seeking a dedicated Embroidery Machine Operator to join our Production team. You’ll set up, calibrate, and operate multi-head embroidery machines to create designs for our apparel lines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include interpreting work orders, selecting materials and threads, hooping textiles, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance. Candidates should have post-secondary education and at least 1 year of embroidery or

• Post-secondary education.
• 1+ years embroidery, sewing, or machine operating experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to safely lift up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and performing duties in a combination of positions including sitting, standing, and walking.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Setting up the workstation and calibrating the multi-head embroidery machines at the beginning of each shift.
• Working together with your team to maintain a clean and organized workspace while operating the machines safely.
• Interpreting work orders to program the design into the multi-head embroidery machines.
• Selecting the right materials and thread colours to use for each design.

On your application, we’ll be looking for the following qualifications:
