Job summary

Vaderstad is seeking an Embedded Software Developer to advance the onboard control system of farming equipment. You will enhance product design and user experience, integrating APIs and diverse protocols while collaborating across global teams.

Requirements include a degree in CS/SE, strong C/C++ with RTOS/Embedded Linux, and experience with CANBUS and IoT interfaces. Expect a dynamic, growth-focused environment with expansive testing and validation duties.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with software tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Azure Pipelines, Jama, etc.
• Proficiency: JavaScript, Objective C, Swift, .Net, iOS internals; Python, MATLAB, Simulink, Wireshark.
• Experience in APIs, protocols like J1939, ISO11783, TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth.

Responsibilities

• Work on embedded software development from concept to delivery.
• Troubleshoot, root cause analysis, and resolve software bugs.
• Build simulators and emulators for development and testing.
• Review and coordinate testing across modules and teams.
