Embedded Software Engineer

Lumentum is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to help shape the next generation of advanced optical communication products. In this role, you’ll join a world-class team and contribute to the design, development, and support of cutting‑edge embedded software across a wide range of technologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with internal teams and customers to diagnose and resolve complex software issues.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Familiarity with hardware devices such as ADCs/DACs/Clocks/UART/FPGAs.
• Knowledge of interfacing to embedded devices via interfaces such as PCIe, I2C, SPI, RS-232.
