Electronic Transaction Consultants Corporation is seeking an Embedded Software Developer to design, implement, test, and support embedded software across the lifecycle. The role emphasizes embedded C, hardware/software integration, real-time behavior, and embedded Linux/RTOS platforms.

You will work with software, hardware, verification, and product teams to deliver reliable embedded solutions, with opportunities to contribute to architecture, debugging, and deployment across diverse interfaces

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Eng, Electrical Eng, CS, Software Eng, or related technical field.
• Experience developing software for embedded or real-time systems.
• Proficiency in C and/or C++.
• Experience with embedded OS/RTOS or embedded Linux.
• Knowledge of processes, threads, synchronization, concurrency, interrupts, and IPC concepts.
• Experience with cross compilers and target hardware.
• Experience with Git and build systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable embedded software and system architectures.
• Develop and maintain software interfaces using CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, TCP/IP, USB, GPIO.
• Develop multithreaded, real-time software; support verification and validation.
• Prepare design reviews, code reviews, and test procedures.
• Support system integration, debugging, and delivery across hardware/software.
