Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP is seeking a dedicated janitor to perform cleaning of floors, washrooms, offices and common areas in a two-building facility in New Brunswick. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, carpet care on request, window cleaning, waste disposal and maintaining bathroom supplies.

The candidate must follow directions, work with minimal supervision and be reliable. A strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to transport themselves to the site are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Must have own transportation.
• Attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and wash floors, stairs and surfaces inside buildings.
• Strip/wax floors and steam clean carpets on request.
• Wash windowsills, glass in interior doors and windows.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies daily.
• Collect, bag and dispose of building trash daily; replace liners.
• Monitor for defects (urinals, lights) and report to supervisor.
• Be prepared to work between two buildings located across the street.
