Qualifications Required

• In Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or; Good Standing with Terms, Conditions or Limitations (Transitional Certificate).
• A police record check, with a Vulnerable Sector Search and Pardoned Sexual Offenders Database Search dated within 6 months prior to the date of hire, is a requirement for employment.

This long term occasional position is posted and filled in accordance with the Elementary Occasional Teachers' Collective Agreement.

• An occasional teacher currently in a long-term position that will not conclude by the start date of this position is not eligible to apply to this posting, unless the occasional teacher can accommodate the position with their existing position.
• If this posting occurs in June, in accordance with the memorandum of agreement between the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board and ETFO (Occ), please note that if you are awarded and accept a position of 0.8 FTE or greater, you will not be eligible to apply for any subsequent postings which commence prior to the end date of the accepted position.
