Calfrac Well Services is seeking an Electronics Technician - Apprentice to join our Maintenance team in Canada. The role focuses on electrical repair, preventive maintenance, and keeping recording/control systems up to date on Calfrac equipment.

The position requires enrollment in a technical program or Journeyman Instrumentation Certification, plus understanding of hydraulic systems and PLCs. A Class 5 license is required, with drivers abstract and safety compliance emphasized.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in, or working towards, an accredited one or two-year technical school program or Journeyman Instrumentation Certification.
• Technical training diploma or certificate in electronics recommended.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Work safely in accordance with company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Repair and maintain Calfrac electrical equipment and components.
• Maintain all recording and control software.
• Complete updates and modification requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis.
• Assist in scheduling and costs for repairs.
• Develop a base understanding of fracturing, coiled tubing and cementing operations.
