Electronic Equipment Maintenance Technician

Job Details
  • Salary: $35.00 hourly / 40 to 48 hours per week
  • Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time
  • Required education: College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience. Work must be completed at the physical location; remote work is not available.

Responsibilities
  • Test power equipment and systems
  • Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports
  • Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components
  • Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
  • Carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics
  • Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
  • Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
