Job Description

As a skilled Electro Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing all manufactured products prior to being shipped to the customer. The successful candidate will participate in continual training and development, read and follow basic diagrams, drawings, specifications, bills of material, and instructions to accurately assemble components into finished products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assembling and testing all manufactured products prior to being shipped to the customer
  • Participating in continual training and development
  • Reading and following basic diagrams, drawings, specifications, bills of material, and instructions to accurately assemble components into finished products
  • Assisting other Assemblers when required
  • Performing work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace
  • Determine wiring requirements, implement and document
  • Attach name plates and mark identifying information on parts
  • Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma with at least two years manufacturing experience
  • Correct color vision, able to lift up to 40 pounds with a full range of arm motion in order to handle machinery and components
  • Willing to comply with government regulations and company safety rules
