Job summary

Soucy Group is seeking an electromechanics-focused technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.

You will maintain motors and automated systems, program PLCs (Omron and Allen Bradley), and coordinate with subcontractors to complete work orders efficiently. Evening shifts provide a premium, with a clear path to full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Ability to read plans, diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (Omron and Allen Bradley).
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions and failures.
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts on machinery.
• Maintain, test, and repair electric motors, automated systems, connections, and devices.
• Assemble and perform basic programming of PLCs (Omron and Allen Bradley).
• Complete work orders by noting repair time and parts to order.
• Read plans and schematics to determine action.
• Contact and manage subcontractors.
• Conduct machine safety analyses.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions and failures
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts on machinery
• Maintain, test, and repair electric motors, automated systems, connections, and any other devices
• Assemble and perform basic programming of programmable logic controllers (Omron and Allen Bradley)
• Complete work orders by indicating the actual repair time and any parts to be ordered, if applicable
• Read plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine the proper course of action
• Contact and manage subcontractors
• Conduct machine safety analyses

• Permanent, full-time position
• Shift: evening shifts (3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.)
• Salary: $32.59 to $33.34 per hour, depending on experience
• Shift premium: $1.25 per evening hour
