Job summary

Integrated Staffing Limited has an opening for an Electromechanical Assembler in Bayer's Lake, NS. The role combines electronic and mechanical assembly to build, inspect, and test advanced Radio Frequency equipment. You will work with cables, harnesses, soldering, crimping and reading wiring diagrams.

The position is permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The location is bus accessible and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge RF technology.

Qualifications

• Experience with both electronic and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read Bills of Materials, CAD drawings, assembly instructions and wiring diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

THE JOB

We're looking for an Electromechanical Assembler to join a growing engineering and manufacturing team in Bayer's Lake. You'll work alongside production, engineering, and quality teams to build, inspect, and test advanced Radio Frequency equipment. The role involves a mix of electronic and mechanical assembly, including cable harnesses, soldering, crimping, hand tools, and working from drawings and wiring diagrams. It's a great opportunity for someone with hands‑on electronics and mechanical experience who enjoys detailed work and learning new technology.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position, candidates should have experience with both electronic and mechanical assembly. Experience building and installing cable harnesses, crimping, soldering, and working with electro/mechanical assemblies is required. Candidates should be comfortable using hand and power tools such as cutters, crimpers, rivet guns, torque wrenches, drills, grinders, and saws. The ability to read and understand Bills of Materials, CAD drawings, assembly instructions, and wiring diagrams is required, along with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Experience with printed circuit board assembly, surface‑mount soldering, IPC standards, multimeters, ESD principles, sheet metal fabrication, or machine shop equipment is considered an asset. Experience with adhesives and compounds, MRP software, quality assurance, ISO standards, or material handling is also an asset.
