Job summary

Energy Job Shop is hiring experienced Journeyperson Electricians for a major gold mine construction project at Eskay Creek, BC. This role involves electrical and instrumentation work in a mining environment, including installation, maintenance, and compliance with safety standards.

Ideal candidates are Red Seal certified, safety-focused, and ready for a fly-in/fly-out camp rotation. 14/14 rotation, 12-hour shifts, and camp accommodations provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of industrial construction electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Proficiency with hand tools, testing equipment, and electrical installations.
• Valid Fall Protection, BC Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), WHMIS, ESTS, and CSTS 2020.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work safely at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors.
• Flexibility for shift work, overtime, and weekends.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to work independently.
