In this role, you’ll help ensure the reliable operation of our electrical systems that keep the airport running smoothly — from airfield lighting to terminal power distribution. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical inspections, maintenance, and repairs related to airfield lighting and building electrical systems at the Airport. You will also be part of an ‘on-call’ rotation, responding to after-hours lighting, signage, electrical emergencies, as well as supporting winter operations when required.
The Electrician is a union position reporting to the Electrical Supervisor and will normally work a 40-hour work week. Some after-hours emergency support and regular scheduled maintenance may be required.
