Overview

Join one of Canada’s leading food manufacturers with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and employee development. We’re hiring a Maintenance Electrician in Regina to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and automation systems while supporting smooth production operations. You’ll use our asset management system to complete preventative and corrective maintenance in a fast-paced environment that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll get as a Maintenance Electrician
  • 44.15 / hour for ticketed trades plus a $2.00 / hour premium for night shifts (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.), with typical shifts from 11:30 p.m.–8 a.m. or 3:30 p.m.–12 a.m.
  • Includes 3 weeks of vacation, 5 sick days, and a potential signing bonus!
  • Quarterly performance bonus of up to 5%, annual tool allowance, $170 boot allowance, and prescription safety glasses if required.
  • Additional pay premiums for dual tickets or extra certifications; 80% employer-paid health and dental benefits.

What you’ll do as a Maintenance Electrician
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints to guide installations and repairs.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain motors, control logic, sensors, pneumatic systems, and electrical components (120V–600V).
  • Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and thermal imagers to identify and resolve issues.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow all safety procedures, including LOTO, while maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area.
  • Conduct basic PLC troubleshooting, assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools, and complete other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring as a Maintenance Electrician
  • Must hold a Red Seal Certification or equivalent nationally recognized Electrical Trade Ticket.
  • 3 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, ideally within the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and skilled in using diagnostic tools.
  • Familiar with preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in computer programs such as Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a team-focused mindset and willingness to work weekends or night shifts as required.
