The Industrial Electrician will work as part of a team to install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment in a manufacturing environment. This individual will have the ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications to provide troubleshooting and repair services. The Industrial Electrician will also routinely perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and components in order to ensure the continued safe, efficient and effective operations of all equipment and fixtures utilized by the organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair facility fixtures, equipment, and electronic controls and systems, including motor control centers, schematics, power supplies, and automation.
  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems/components, and how they operate
  • Exercise good judgment, balance multiple priorities, and provide technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel as needed.
  • Maintain specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and materials usage.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
  • 309 A license or an Industrial Electrician 442A
  • Knowledge of power distribution, PLC programming, Allen‑Bradley PLC’s, voltages, speed controls, AC and DC drives
  • Three years related working experience, preferably in a food processing environment.
  • Must be a team player, possess mechanical aptitude, the ability to work with minimum supervision, and possess a safety‑first approach to work.
