Job description

Responsibilities
  • Based on feedback from operations and experience prioritize electrical and instrumentation workload and track.
  • Coordinate electrical and instrumentation work load with and or outside contractors and provide feedback to Electrical Supervisor on abilities and quality of work.
  • Review projects and provide guidelines for electrical and instrumentation installations.
  • With input from Electrical Supervisor create and implement training plan. Electrical/Instrumentation Technician will perform or arrange to have performed necessary installations, adjustments, repairs, calibrations and maintenance on all AC and DC power equipment.
  • Electrical/Instrumentation Technician will perform or arrange to have performed necessary installations, adjustments, repairs, calibrations and maintenance on all instruments and accessories, such as flow meters, pressure transmitters, gauges, control valves, relays and positioners, electronic and pneumatic controls, pneumatic instrument sensing and impulse tubing, timing devices, meters, PLC's, DCS systems, testing and measuring devices.
  • Electrical/Instrumentation Technician shall make every effort to work in a safe manner at all times, attend scheduled safety meetings, train and participate in Company safety processes.
  • Electrical/Instrumentation Technician shall manage electrical and instrumentation work orders using a maintenance planning system to review, prioritize, schedule and complete work orders and maintain records.
