Qualifications

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) preferred.
  • Experience with marine electrical systems, battery storage and charging infrastructure is highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience with electrical equipment design, control panels, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized electrical engineering expertise for day-to-day operation of ferry-terminal electrical systems.
  • Respond to critical incidents, diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues to ensure reliability.
  • Develop and maintain electrical asset management plans for ferry systems and charging infrastructure.
  • Lead technical guidance to staff, contractors and OEMs on safety, maintenance and commissioning.
