Job summary

Ganotec, a full-service heavy industrial contractor, is seeking an Electrical Superintendent. This Senior role involves field supervision, shop drawings, submittals, schedules, and proactive site leadership on projects nationwide across Canada and the United States.

Rotations may be 14/7 or 10/4, with substantial travel as required to meet project needs. You will lead electricians and craft teams, ensure safety, budgeting, and quality standards, and contribute to project documentation and

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ work experience in construction, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in oil & gas industry is a must
• Experience managing a team of 10 to 25 electricians an asset
• Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, union agreements and jurisdictional issues, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings, and other documents
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance
• Strong work ethic, willingness to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
• Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.

District Overview

Ganotec is a full service, heavy industrial contractor serving the industrial sector across Canada. Ganotec typically self performs all major disciplines including, civil, structural steel erection, heavy mechanical equipment installation, process piping and electrical / instrumentation and controls. We conduct our business through a variety of commercial contract styles including full turnkey, EPC, design build, T&M and conventional discipline packages. We have always been a strong proponent of “partnering”, working in collaboration with owners, major equipment suppliers and engineers at the early stages of the project development phase to allow for a more cost-effective execution strategy for the project. Location

This position requires flexibility to travel to project sites across Canada and the United States, including fly-in/fly-out assignments. Rotations could be 14/7 or 10/4.

Base Compensation: $120,000/yr - $170,000/yr
