Job summary

Powell Canada Inc. is seeking a Quality Technologist – PSS to support warranty and field service activities in Edmonton. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, technical analysis and collaboration with engineering and operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will interpret drawings, review test reports, and provide guidance on warranty concerns while supporting customers and sites as needed.

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or a degree is preferred.
2+ years working with Powell equipment preferred.
Legal eligibility to work in Canada as stated in the job posting.

Responsibilities

Receive, record and analyze customer warranty and problem reports to provide result oriented technical solutions for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Provide over the phone support to customers for troubleshooting operational, design or technical concerns.
Read and interpret a wide variety of technical drawings including mechanical 3D models, mechanical and electrical interlocks, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; review feedback to engineering, operations and quality.
Lead special projects, as required.
Attend customer facilities and sites for investigations, inspections and hands-on work.
