Job summary

ICE Western, a long-standing leader in custom HVAC solutions, is seeking an Electrician or electrical technician for panel installation and repair in Calgary, Alberta. The role requires reading blueprints, wiring panels, testing circuits, and collaborating with a skilled panel shop team.

Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of Alberta electrical panel experience, Grade 12 education, and strong communication and time-management skills. Wages are experience-based on a base of trades tickets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years electrical panel experience in Alberta.
• Minimum of a Grade 12 education.
• Electrical Apprenticeship is an asset.
• Strong time management skills and organizational skills.
• Superior communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various service projects.
• Work well under pressure.
• Proven ability to effectively finish project to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, repair and test electrical circuits and equipment such as electrical controls and panel boxes, splice, join and connect wires, test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits, troubleshoot and isolate faults.
• Performs point to point wiring, including wire routing, crimping, stripping and proper labelling of terminated wires.
• Control panel layout and installation.
• Work with other panel shop technicians to meet deadline expectations.
