Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Where will you work: Onsite – Esterhazy K1, SK location

Are you our next Team Member?

We are currently seeking a Surface Electrical Maintenance Supervisor at our Esterhazy K1, SK location. The successful candidate will coordinate work and supervise the safe maintenance of all equipment in his/her assigned area of the K1 surface operation. The work requires management of labour and material resources in order to maintain the efficient operation of the mill and surface electrical plant.

What will you be working on?

Schedules and assigns tasks to workforce in order to ensure prompt and efficient repairs. Also responsible for visits to work location, reviewing FLHA's, hot work permits, excavation permits and ensuring crew members are following procedures in every aspect of their daily assignments.

Responsible for removing barriers for crew members to execute work in a safe manner.

Implements and supports Preventative Maintenance Processes in the work area.

Responsible for ongoing training of crew on policies, procedures and keeping the training updated for the crew members at 100%.

Responsible for installation of new and redesigned equipment which may be related to the continuous improvement of the mill operations. Will be required to attend meetings for training purposes as well as to review projects being executed out of other departments at our location.

What is required for this role?

High school/GED equivalent. Technical Secondary School: Related Field preferred.

Journeyperson Electrical ticket.

Suitable Electrical Maintenance experience.

Experience in Microsoft Office and Maximo.

Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact with respective crews and with all Mill and support personnel.

Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic's pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing.
