A leading energy infrastructure company is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Technician for their northern British Columbia team. This role involves maintaining natural gas compression systems, performing installation and repair work, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates must hold a Journeyman Electrician certification and have at least 5 years of relevant experience. We are currently seeking an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Technician to join Northeast British Columbia (NEBC) compression team, based in Dawson Creek, BC.
Reporting to the Area Manager, NEBC, this Controls Technician will operate and maintain natural gas compression and auxiliary equipment (including assigned electronic, electrical, pneumatic and/or mechanical control systems, devices, and ancillary equipment gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, boilers, fuel gas compressors, and PLC & DCS control systems) in a manner which meets operational needs in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will also be required to perform tasks from other disciplines.
