Teck Resources in Trail, BC, is hiring a Superintendent of Electrical Engineering to lead the electrical engineering function, guide asset strategies, and support safe, reliable operations. You will manage a multidisciplinary team, set priorities, and oversee asset governance and project delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of power distribution, and a proven track record in heavy industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive electrical engineering experience in heavy industry with leadership.
• Eligible for registration with EGBC; Teck supports EGBC.
• Prior supervisory or engineering leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Electrical Engineering function.
• Establish asset strategies, lifecycle plans, and risk management.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentor staff.
• Ensure reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance across Trail Operations.
• Oversee capital projects from concept to commissioning and handover.
