  • Interpret customer specifications and technical requirements to support the development of practical and reliable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in close collaboration with manufacturing teams, contributing to problem‑solving during equipment build and production.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment across design and production phases.
  • Support production by responding to technical questions and addressing challenges that arise during manufacturing.
  • Participate in technical reviews, project kick‑offs, and production meetings, contributing to project execution and delivery.
  • Manage priorities and timelines to meet project deliverables and support overall execution.
What qualifications will make you successful?

  • You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and manufacturing teams
  • You are adaptable and able to adjust priorities in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment
  • You take ownership of your work and are able to balance multiple deliverables while maintaining quality and timelines
  • You are curious, open to feedback, and motivated to continuously build your technical knowledge
  • You are comfortable working in an environment where design and real‑time problem‑solving are closely connected.
What you bring

  • Experience working with engineering tools such as AutoCAD
  • A solid understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and the ability to apply fundamental electrical concepts
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including single-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment layouts
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards such as CSA (Canadian Standards Association), ANSI (American National Standards Institute), or IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), or willingness to learn and apply them
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams
You might also have
  • Exposure to medium-voltage (MV) systems
  • Experience with switchboard or MCC (Motor Control Center) design
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Comfort working in fast‑paced environments where priorities may shift and production timelines are critical
