Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum three years of Engineering experience in leading Electrical tests.
• Working knowledge of transmission and distribution equipment design and electrical testing.
• Registration as a professional engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists of BC.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the high power lab, including testing equipment setup and maintenance.
• Create test proposals and review relevant test standards timely.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with internal teams and external clients.
• Troubleshoot engineering problems during testing and propose solutions.
• Support failure analysis investigations and contribute engineering knowledge.
• Oversee maintenance and improvements of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain relationships and communication with departments and consultants.
