Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize and monitor all project phases, including managing workers, budgets and deadlines
  • Design and develop power system infrastructures in collaboration with the engineering team
  • Supervise installation and commissioning of systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with technical specifications
  • Coordinate the in‑house engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with current standards and regulations for electrical installations and equipment
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders (clients, suppliers, partners) to ensure transparency and that requirements are met
  • Track and manage the project budget, monitoring costs and controlling expenses
  • Solve technical and logistical problems encountered during the various project phases

Summary of Certifications & Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and member in good standing with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • At least five years of relevant experience
  • An understanding of applicable standards and electrical codes
  • Adapt at working on a team and communicating effectively with team members and clients
  • Ability to learn quickly and work under the supervision of senior engineers
  • Intermediate level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients in English‑speaking Canadian provinces and internationally. The frequency of English use may range from occasional to daily, depending on ongoing projects
  • Advanced level of French to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
