Job summary

A technology firm in Canada is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of advanced electrical systems for cutting-edge modular data centers. The successful candidate will oversee the complete lifecycle of electrical designs, collaborate with mechanical and software teams, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of design experience. Competitive salary and equity package included.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical and controls design.
  • Experience in 3D CAD software, Autodesk Inventor or equivalent.
  • Strong experience producing electrical installation drawings.
  • Deep understanding of PLC I/O interactions.
  • Working knowledge of relevant electrical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop complete electrical system architectures.
  • Produce detailed electrical installation drawings.
  • Generate release-ready drawing packages.
  • Mentor current engineers on electrical design best practices.
  • Ensure all designs meet relevant electrical codes and standards.
