What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Design and analyze collection systems for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage facilities
  • Perform load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies to ensure system reliability and compliance
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports for collection systems and electrical designs
  • Support field activities by providing guidance and addressing design issues
  • Ensure designs comply with national and local electrical codes and interconnection requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, renewable engineering, or relevant field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in power systems, renewable energy, or utility-scale electrical engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical design software such as ETAP, PSCAD, SKM, or equivalent
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
