Description

Actalent's client, a large international engineering consulting company, is looking for a strong senior electrical engineer to join their team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will have low to medium voltage experience (up to 25 kV) on mining and oil sands projects and will be expected to interface with the client (such as Pembina, Suncor, TC Energy, CNRL) as well as mentor and coach junior engineers and designers. They will work on sustaining capital projects (including tanks, metering stations, pipelines, mining and water intake projects) and may be required to travel to site as needed. Typical tasks include MCCs, switch gears, cable sizing, and cable tray routing.
