Job summary

Iconic Power Systems Inc. is seeking an Electrical Drafter to produce accurate, buildable drawings for substation and distribution projects.

You will ensure quality and adherence to company standards while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to progress drafts through all project stages. The role requires 2–4 years of experience in electrical drafting, strong proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering Design Technology or related certificates in AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• 2-4 years of experience in an electrical engineering drafting environment.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Identify drafting opportunities.
• Create company drafting standards and drafting resource library.
• Ensure drawings follow company standards and meet project scope and budget.
• Suggest productivity improvements through templates, procedures, and automation.
• Review and reference customer drawings for design drawings.
• Create full engineering design packages for the project lifecycle.
• Accurately estimate resource requirements for projects.
• Collaborate with team to ensure project success.
• Deliver Iconic designs on time with high quality.
