The Hamilton-based electrical design team seeks an Intermediate Electrical Designer/Engineer to expand its portfolio across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in building design projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical design drawings for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Support projects from concept to construction including design development and tender packages.
• Perform load calculations, panel schedules, and lighting layouts.
• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams for integrated designs.
• Participate in client meetings and internal design coordination meetings.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and assist during construction administration.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and project requirements.
