The Opportunity:
WSP’s Property & BuildingM&E Team is currently seeking an Electrical Designer, Buildings&E to join our Electrical team,locatedatTorontoandThornhilloffice. Reporting to the Electrical Engineering, the Electrical Designer willbe responsible forvarious aspects of the design and drafting of electrical systems with AutoCAD, and Revit 3D modeling services on various Property & Buildings projects. The Electrical Designer would alsobe requiredto attend client sites to evaluate existing conditions, as well as review construction progress.

What you can expect to do here:
- Basic calculation, design, and installation details for electrical systems;
- Develop lighting layouts, luminaire schedules and lighting control schematics;
- Develop power distribution layouts and sizing of electrical equipment;
- Preparing AutoCAD drawings and Revit 3D modeling for electricalsystems;
- Learning building electrical engineering requirement, exposure to Ontario Building Code (OBC), Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) and CSA standards for building and sitedesign;
- Perform individually or as a team member, under direct supervision of engineers and projectmanagers;
- Other duties as assigned/required
Whatyou’llbring toSP:
- Degree from an Electrical Engineeringprogram;
- Ability to work independently or as a team member to deliver comprehensive design and meet thedeadlines;
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit3D;
