Job summary

OZZ Electric Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support electrical project execution. You will read and review electrical drawings with a critical eye, identify discrepancies, and escalate to the Project Manager. The role requires a commercial electrical background and collaboration with project teams.

You will assist with procurement, scheduling, permits, and reporting while maintaining strong relationships with Foremen, clients, and contractors. Office-based with site travel as needed.

Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent experience in construction administration.
• 3–5 years in construction administration or similar role.
• Experience with MS Office and Bluebeam.
• Construction industry exposure; electrical field experience is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings and plans.
• Knowledge of local and federal workplace compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings with PMs and Superintendents and perform counts.
• Assist in procurement of materials and equipment.
• Evaluate and file electrical drawings for accuracy.
• Interpret construction drawings and relevant codes.
• Support permit submissions, responses, procurements, inspections and closeouts.
• Coordinate with suppliers and PM, maintaining relationships with field staff.
• Prepare reports on plan review deficiencies or code violations.
• Track schedules, shipments, and back-orders; escalate discrepancies.
• Attend meetings and take accurate minutes; assist with change orders and monthly costs.
