Job summary

Eaton in Ontario is seeking an Electrical Assembler responsible for assembling and wiring standard and engineered control assemblies, and performing functional testing in the Modification Shop. You will interpret drawings, select wiring sequences, ensure CSA/UL/CEC compliance, and contribute to safety and quality initiatives while working within a collaborative manufacturing team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma or an equivalent level of education from an accredited institution.
  • Prior manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Must be legally authorised to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position; candidates must reside within 100 km of the work location.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire standard and engineered control assemblies in accordance with required specifications.
  • Interpret drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and instructions to perform electrical and mechanical assembly.
  • Determine proper wiring sequence, layout, and component location based on product documentation.
  • Perform functional and some electrical testing to verify workmanship and product performance.
  • Complete work in accordance with CSA, UL, and CEC codes, as well as company quality requirements.
  • Provide input and recommendations to improve the effectiveness, safety, quality, and efficiency of the work area.
