AltaPro Electric is hiring registered apprentices from first through fourth year in the Edmonton area for work on commercial, industrial and solar projects. Your wage steps with your apprenticeship year, and you learn on multiple project types rather than a single trade.

You will perform conduit bending and installation, pull and terminate conductors, install devices, terminate equipment, and move materials on site.

Qualificações

• Must have Apprentice ID Card and electrical field experience.
• Not hiring first-year apprentices without trade work experience.
• CSTS2020 and WHMIS certifications required.
• Fall Protection and MEWP tickets are expected.

Responsabilidades

• Bend and install EMT conduit, PVC and DB2.
• Pull and terminate conductors from #14 to 500 MCM.
• Install devices such as plugs, switches and lights.
• Terminate distribution equipment.
• Transport materials, tools and equipment.
• Work from scissor lifts, boom lifts and ladders.

Location: Edmonton and area. No required out of town work.

Schedule: Full time, construction. Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 3:30. Hours may vary based on site requirements.

What you will do

• Bending and installing EMT conduit, PVC and DB2
• Pulling and terminating conductors from #14 up to 500 MCM
• Installing devices such as plugs, switches and lights
• Terminating distribution equipment
• Transporting materials, tools and equipment
• Working from scissor lifts, boom lifts and ladders

What you need

• Apprentice ID Card
• Electrical field experience. We are not hiring first year apprentices who have not yet worked in the trade.
• Fall Protection
• Mobile Elevating Work Platforms
• CSTS2020, which includes WHMIS

What we offer

• Base wage of $24.00 to $38.40 per hour depending on apprenticeship year
