Qualifications

• Educational Assistant Diploma or related education and work experience in development of children and/or special education.
• Post-secondary degree related to the field of study.
• A valid Behaviour Management Systems certification is required for this position.
• Experience working with students with special needs and behavioral disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with students with diverse needs, supporting behavior, safety, and medical/physical needs.
• May involve lifting, positioning, and transferring children and equipment; use BMS techniques.
