Job summary

Living Sky School Division is seeking an Educational Assistant for North Battleford Comprehensive High School, Saskatchewan, to begin immediately as a temporary full-time 1.0 FTE position. You will support learning, assist in classrooms and small groups to foster engagement and success.

The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers, demonstrate patience, organization and strong communication, and help students reach their potential in a dynamic school environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least 1 year of childcare experience.
• Post-secondary certificate in Early Learning & Childcare or Youth Care Worker or equivalent is an asset.
• Ability to work with children in group and classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom.
• Promote engagement, participation and success of students.
