Job summary

Northwest School Division is seeking a full-time, temporary Educational Assistant for Carpenter High School in Meadow Lake, SK. The assignment will start as soon as possible and terminate on June 30, 2027.

Minimum requirements include a Grade 12 diploma; post-secondary training in Early Childhood Development, Teacher Assistant, Youth Worker, or related field is an asset. Compensation follows the local CUPE agreement.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma from a provincially recognized institution.
• One year of post-secondary training in a program such as Early Childhood Development, Teacher Assistant, Youth Worker or equivalent post-secondary education in a related area would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide student support in classroom settings at Carpenter High School.
• Assist teachers with instructional activities, supervision, and day-to-day classroom management.
