Kelowna Christian School is inviting applications for a temporary full-time Educational Assistant (EA) to cover a maternity leave at our Lakeshore Middle School Campus.
This role will primarily involve supporting a student’s diabetes medical care, under the guidance and direction of Nursing Support Services personnel. Comprehensive and specific training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Training and experience in supporting students with disabilities / diverse abilities is a valued asset, and applicants with training or experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Preference may be given to candidates who hold Educational Assistant Certification, related training, or relevant experience supporting children with diverse learning and medical needs; however, we are looking for a best-fit applicant who has a heart for helping students thrive and wants to be part of a caring, faith-based school community.
JOB TITLE: Educational Assistant (1.0 FTE) at the Middle School campus
This is a full-time, temporary position from January 6, 2026, to June 19, 2026, with the opportunity to extend into the 2026/27 school year. There will be an opportunity for training in December 2025 in order to prepare for the position’s start in January 2026.
