The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating educational content, conducting webinars, and delivering training programs to help salon owners and professionals maximize their use of Phorest salon software. Your primary goal will be to enhance customer engagement, increase product adoption, and ultimately reduce customer churn.

What You'll Do
  • Content Creation:
    • Complement comprehensive educational materials, including videos, tutorials, guides, and step‑by‑step instructions covering the features and functionalities of Phorest salon software provided by our Global Education Team.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts and our Product Marketing Manager to ensure accuracy and relevance of the content.
    • Continuously update and maintain existing educational resources to reflect software updates and industry best practices.
  • Webinar and In‑Person Training Facilitation:
    • Plan, organize, and deliver engaging live webinars and virtual training sessions for salon owners, managers, and staff (10+ per week).
    • Ensure a seamless and interactive learning experience by incorporating real‑world examples, case studies, and best practices.
    • Respond to participant questions and provide actionable solutions.
    • Handle pre‑ and post‑session communications with attendees through our webinar platform.
    • Comfortable delivering in‑person education at customers’ businesses when necessary.
  • Customer Engagement and Support:
    • Actively engage with salon customers through various channels (forums, social media, email) to understand their needs, pain points, and areas of confusion.
    • Manage and promote our Facebook education group.
    • Provide personalized guidance and support to help customers overcome obstacles.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate feedback to the product and development teams.
  • Churn Reduction Strategies:
    • Collaborate with customer success and support teams to identify at‑risk customers and provide tailored training and resources to prevent churn.
Who You Are
  • 3+ years of proven experience delivering training, creating educational content, or working in a customer education role.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
  • Strong understanding of salon operations, workflows, and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in using Phorest salon software and its features.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and webinar platforms; experience with Zoom is a bonus.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer pain points and develop effective solutions.
  • Self‑motivated and proactive, passionate about continuous learning and improvement.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be available to travel at least once per month and comfortable presenting to large audiences.
